About Me

Hi! I'm Jacob Ben-Shmuel, a Los Angeles-based social media and marketing consultant, and musician. I grew up in Santa Fe, NM, and moved to the Bay Area in my teen years. During that time, I cultivated a deep passion for the arts, particularly in singing, creative writing, and music production. This early love for music has only intensified, leading me to appreciate creativity, design, and innovation across various art forms. Alongside my artistic pursuits, I discovered my entrepreneurial spirit at a young age when I began selling Tootsie Roll pops to classmates during recess. Experiences like this sparked my interest in business, prompting me to enroll in college-level business courses while still in high school. To further my knowledge and skills, I sought internships with local businesses, allowing me to combine my creative aspirations with entrepreneurial ambitions. Balancing these passions has shaped my unique perspective and continues to inspire me as I navigate both my creative and business endeavors.

I know how hard it is to balance creativity with business. I’ve made it my job to help you do both—without compromising either.

As of Late...

In 2024, I graduated from Whittier College with a BA in Business Administration and Digital Music Production. During my time there, I was awarded the Murdy's writing award, as well as being placed on the dean's list. Working as an executive assistant in the music industry has only solidified my ability to navigate the intersection of creativity and strategy, allowing me to thrive in dynamic environments. In early 2025, I took a significant step forward by launching my brand and social media consultancy. This has opened doors to collaborate with entertainers and companies across various sectors. My commitment to fostering creativity while implementing effective strategies has driven my success, and I am eager to continue making a positive impact in these industries.
